Local Discovery

Developing solutions for geographically excluded areas and the social activation of people from local communities

About

Local Discovery is a 24-month Erasmus+ KA210 partnership between Poland’s Forum of Regional Tourism Organisations and Cyprus’s DOREA, tackling geographic exclusion in peripheral regions. The project develops practical tools to activate adults aged 50+ and help local communities rediscover the cultural, historical and natural value of where they live.

Two main outputs are being created: a multimedia activation training cycle and a set of creative workshop scenarios using storytelling methods.
